This is a rare opportunity to join progressive Australian Company they are seeking a skilled DevOps/DataOps Engineer. The DevOps/DataOps Engineer is an expert in big data processing and IT operations, ensuring creation and delivery of our dataset products runs smoothly . This role seeks to automate and improve regular tasks around dataset creation, maintenance and release, using scripting systems, continuous integration, automatic testing and version control. Also cloud integration and migration for new and existing products is essential.
The successful DevOps/DataOps Engineer must have experience in the following;
- Minimum 5 years experience as a DataOps, DevOps, Data or Systems Engineer
- Ability to work in a dynamic and Agile environment
- AWS experience + Python
- Experience with GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, 1Spatial
- Excellent verbal communication and clear written documentation
