Our government client requires an experienced Delivery Manager to assist with an exciting project.

Delivery Managers are expected to deliver products and services using Agile Methodologies. A Delivery Manager assists with defining the roadmap for products and services, runs the daily stand ups and weekly team meetings, makes sure that the backlog and team spaces are up to date, and creates the environment that helps the teams succeed.

Delivery Managers operate with a significant degree of independence and work under broad guidance. They operate with a high level of autonomy, with decision-making highly dependent on their judgement.

As a Delivery Manager, you will have significant experience in:

• Agile practices, including SCRUM and Kanban, and project and programme management frameworks and policies;
• Facilitating planning and estimation and experience with budgets;
• A collaborative approach to working with strong organisational and communication skills;
• Experience in delivering digital products and services;
• Strong organisational and communication skills;
• Pragmatically able to respond to changing needs and comfortable in a dynamic, fast moving environment;
• Provide drive to a team;
• Problem solver and unblocker; and
• Demonstrating personal resilience and applying well developed influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation skills.

Highly Desirable

• Extensive experience in coordinating the delivery of multiple technical projects and programmes;
• Hold, be working towards or an ability to obtain an industry recognized qualification in project management, such as;
  • Diploma of Project Management;
  • Diploma of Risk Management;
  • PRINCE2 Foundation;
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner;
  • MSP Managing Successful Programmes Certifications; or
  • Certification in Prosci’s Change Management Methodology.
