About the business and the role
As part of the DEFSYS Group, this role is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of projects for a variety of DEFSYS clients in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
As an integral member of DEFSYS, you will manage multiple stakeholders globally to ensure website & software projects are executed on-time with best practice design, optimised and marketed accordingly.
About the role
This role is hands-on and diverse, so your adaptability and willingness to tackle a broad range of digital work will be essential. Strong technical skills are absolutely essential.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Software development tasks & programming
- Working to scope, track and manage web & digital projects from start to finish
- Ability to create detailed scoping documents
- Experience of end-to-end project delivery from initial brief to final delivery, with both the development team and our clients.
- Collaborating with creative, technical and functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Skills and experience
About you:
We are looking for a technically minded individual with experience working and leading digital & web projects.
- Strong communication skills
- 3+ years' relevant experience leading web or digital projects
- 5+ years' Object-Oriented development experience
- 3+ years' experience as a full stack developer
- API knowledge & experience
- In-depth understanding and experience with GIT
- Demonstrate experience with algorithm design & development
- Linux Operating System experience and knowledge
- UX expertise – wireframes, user flows, site maps, functional documentation etc
- You will have experience in working on projects that have included integration with multiple platforms
- You possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, fact or content into a strong visual presentation that maximizes communications / sales effectiveness.
