About the role
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic UI/UX designer to join us as a key member of the product team. Your forward-thinking mindset, ability to understand the user’s needs for our web and mobile applications and analytical approach will help you thrive in this role.
As the UI/UX designer, the goal is to create a seamless, simple, and useful interaction and user experience for the web and mobile applications, as well as to contribute to the aesthetics and design of all our digital products, branding and marketing collateral.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
- Design and improve our web and mobile applications
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
- Maintain and promote style and design standards throughout the products
- Produce branding, marketing and sales materials
About you
This role would really suit someone who has:
- A tertiary qualification in IT, design or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years in UI/UX design experience or similar role
- Experience and knowledge in standard UX software such as InVision, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, UXPin, Balsamiq
- Knowledge in basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience in popular HTML templates (e.g. HAML, SLIM, Jade, Handlebar and etc.).
- Ability to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet the product's needs and vision
- Experience in hybrid mobile app building (e.g. Ionic, React Native, Reapp, Touchstone and etc.)
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
