Built to Roam is an established cloud and app development company looking to recruit another developer to join our team. You'll have the opportunity to deliver cross-platform and web applications for customer across a variety of industries.

Built to Roam works with customers across a number of industries including banking, entertainment and health, to design and deliver applications across a variety of web, cloud and mobile platforms.
About role
As a Developer at Built to Roam you'll work alongside experienced developers to design and implement cross-platform applications and cloud services in an agile environment for customers across a range of industries. The role will involve writing and testing code, using a code repository to track changes and participate in code reviews. You'll be required to research, brainstorm and collaborate with other team members, as well as interact directly with customers.
Technologies you’ll work with
- Web applications and services in C# using MVC, Web API and .NET Core
- Single page and progressive web applications with Angular (HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Typescript)
- Native development tools and languages for building applications for Windows (Mobile, Desktop and Xbox), iOS, Android
- Cross platform tools such as Xamarin, Xamarin.Forms, Flutter and React Native
- Azure cloud environment and services
- Git-base source code repositories such as GitHub and BitBucket
- Project and task tracking in Visual Studio Team Services
Responsibilities
- To develop applications using a variety of cross platform tools
- Work with our team to define and document customer requirements
- To assist with user interface design and layout
- To create and execute suitable tests to ensure correct operation of software
- Setup, deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure to support development, test and production environments.
- To collaborate with other employees to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget
- Work as a team to improve the continuous integration and deployment workflow and systems
- To write appropriate documentation and release notes
- Consistently maintaining a high-quality development standard
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- High proficiency coding in C# and .NET
- High English proficiency
- (preferred) Experience with web development using MVC and Web API
- (preferred) Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
- (preferred) Experience with Javascript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular or React
- (preferred) Experience working with clients
