An established government organisation is seeking to engage an experienced ICT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a large ICT project.

This is a 7 month fixed-term contract opportunity, based in Inner Brisbane. Please note that intrastate travel is a requirement of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans and apply appropriate project management techniques and methodologies
• Manage the project including resources and finances
• Work collaboratively to initiate and maintain quality relationships with stakeholders
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team to ensure successful project delivery
• Represent the project at senior levels and establish mutually productive partnerships with various vendors and stakeholders

Key Selection Criteria:

• Strong background in managing and delivering complex ICT initiatives successfully
• Well-developed leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and oral)
• Expertise in applying project management methodologies and techniques
• A relevant qualification in Project Management and/or Change Management is highly desirable
