Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce organisation based in Sydney's CBD.

They are currently seeking a Frontend Developer to join a team of 5. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of their web applications.

You will take part in the evolution of frontend architecture while collaborating with the other frontend team members to learn new skills and share your knowledge.

But most importantly, you’ll be joining a top-notch engineering team!

Key Responsibilities

• Design, development, and delivery of front end components
• Creation of single-page applications (SPAs)
• Writing clean, scalable, testable code to support and enable the growth of the company

• Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously

Technical Skills

Requirements:

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Computer Science/Software Engineering degree preferred
• Strong computer science/software engineering background
• Demonstrable experience working with CSS preprocessors or postprocessors (LESS, SASS, PostCSS) - SASS preferred
• Demonstrable experience working with React

Bonus:

• Experience with Redux
• Experience with writing automated tests, preferably Mocha
• Experience working in an AWS environment and using AWS services
• Experience with Node.js or PHP
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
• Experience with Linux
• Experience working in an agile team (Scrum or Kanban)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
