About the Role

We have a great opportunity for an Application Support Manager up for grabs at our Box Hill office who will be leading the technical support function for all Inteflow stakeholders, both internal and external.

 

The Application Support Manager and their team of analysts & developers will be responsible for first, second and third level application support including bug fixes, application platform patching and production deployments. The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with ease and be able to juggle multiple conflicting priorities to ensure issues are seen to a resolution within tight delivery timeframes.

 

You will also be responsible for:

  • Taking the lead on all application support tickets to ensure timely prioritisation and resolution of these requests. This involves:
    • Managing the technical resolution of major production application issues
    • Actively engaging and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to build strong channels of communication
    • Taking proactive measures to monitor and triage incoming support tickets to assess priority and allocation
    • Monitoring progress on resolution of support tickets
    • Identifying and mitigating any potential risks
    • Functioning as a point of escalation for any potential challenges
    • Delivering clear and succinct information on resolution status to relevant stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Proactively managing routine application patching and software updates across development, test, UAT and production environments
  • Providing leadership to a team of analysts and developers. This includes:
    • Coaching, mentoring and developing your team
    • Providing guidance and direction on prioritisation and delivery
    • Oversight of team members responsible for production deployments
  • Proactively identifying and making recommendations to improve the application support team's operational procedures.

 

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, .Net, C#, IIS and ASP.Net
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience
  • Outstanding stakeholder management capability
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills, attention to detail and follow-through
  • High levels of resilience
  • A keen focus on customer service delivery and process improvement
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of credit bureau products and services will be advantageous
