About the role:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across the Force, using these to facilitate service led change and new ways of working.
- Lead an organisational readiness assessment, mapping activity and identifying gaps between current and future state business processes
- Develop and implement change management plans. Take responsibility for workforce capability and capacity planning in relation to the change.
- Provide effective reviews, updates and assessments during and after the programme is complete, identifying risks and issues and proposing mitigating actions.
- Provide expert advice and support to Managers and Staff during change. Resolve queries and issues and share lessons learnt.
- Assist with the creation of the training content and communication to support change, gain buyin and embed as business as usual.
- develop and implement monitoring, review and feedback mechanisms to ensure effective transition to new working practices
- Arrange, prepare and facilitate meetings, workshops and process walk through reviews in order to test and validate new proposals for process improvements and changes so that actual outcomes match those predicted in business cases.
- Ensure new business functions and processes are appropriately documented.
- Proven experience of managing organisational change in a large-scale ERP implementation.
- Proven experience managing strategic change and influencing a range of stakeholders from the CFO/CEO down.
- Proven ability to analyse business processes, identify issues and develop solutions.
- Experience of working with colleagues and other stakeholders, understanding their issues and articulating solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and nontechnical staff.
- A sound understanding of change management principles and practices.
