The IT Application Development Manager, Line-of-business Applications is responsible for leading a team of IT Developers and IT Support Analysts. This individual, reporting to Director, Enterprise Applications, is an active partner and a business process visionary who shapes the technology demand among customer facing employee community across Aristocrat’s global businesses.

What you'll do

• Manages and leads IT Application Development team that builds a portfolio of business solutions built to work with Aristocrat’s global ERP, CRM and PLM solutions.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security and PMO groups and ensure solution proposals are following Aristocrat’s long-term goals
• Creates and sets performance plans for the team aligned to strategic plans
• Identifies and resolves gaps in skills, processes, and resources
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, mentors, and monitors progress of the team
• Works with corresponding IT Business Engagement Manager and their stakeholders and business functions to develop roadmaps and detailed requirements for individual projects
• Develops guidelines for capturing business requirements
• Managerial duties include budget creation, resource augmentation, relationship building with vendors, external teams, and resource allocation

What we're looking for

• Must have extensive experience leading application development teams developing Microsoft .NET/Java/C#/SharePoint/Office365 solutions (preferably in a multinational manufacturing organization)
• Proven ability to create business requirements, business processes, and project plans
• Experience in defining detailed business requirements to support strategic and/or tactical projects
• Must be able to create business cases, operational models, and financial models
• A solid foundation in .NET, Java, C#, SharePoint and good exposure to Microsoft AX and D365
• Excellent working knowledge of cloud computing technologies and systems (at least Salesforce/Dynamics CRM, Azure and Office365)
• Hands-on experience in Agile application development environments
• A Mature understanding of SDLC practices with good exposure to CI/CD
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills required to successfully work in a team environment and communicates effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups
• Ability to identify opportunities and transform them into quantifiable and achievable initiatives
• Able to continuously learn new skills to keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of Aristocrat global presence
• Must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and mentoring the teams to ‘be agile’.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to quality in their work product
