About the role
Senior Project Manager position now available to join our Shared Services team on a 12 month maximum term contract. You will project manage the transfer of hundreds of employees from one payroll and HRIS to another. Situated in Newcastle CBD, this role is perfect for a highly experienced Project Manager with a proven history of delivering multiple pieces of work simultaneously (from initiation through to implementation).
    
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development, planning, execution and delivery of nominated programs and projects utilising project management systems, tools and change management frameworks
  • Develop project briefs and service proposals
  • Develop and manage program/project-level budget, schedule and resource allocations
  • Identify program/project/business risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Prepare accurate executive level program/project status reports
  • Manage the overall delivery of multiple initiatives
  • Develop and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Life Without Barriers project management tools and systems
  • Build justifications for business investment
  • Build communications strategies for projects
  
 Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, project management or similar areas
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role
  • End to end program / project management experience in a high demand environment with multiple key stakeholders and priorities
  • Previous experience writing business cases
  • Ability to demonstrate successful establishment of new business capabilities and achieving tangible business benefits and outcomes
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver multiple positive project outcomes
  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
