• Plan & perform core business analysis functions across full project lifecycle
• Must have solid background in large enterprise systems implementations
• Eastern suburbs location, initial 5-6 month contract with likely extension

This local utility based in the Eastern suburbs is currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to provide analysis services to the implementation of a new Procurement Management system.

Key accountabilities

• Lead business, customer, functional and non-functional requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, and verification
• Identify and understand business issues/pain points, and challenge thinking to resolve business problems
• Support delivery of system implementation with respect to system integration requirements
• Analysis of requirements related to vendor change requests
• Contribute to Data Migration transition requirements

Key skills and experience:

• Strong career history as a Business Analyst across multiple projects including large-scale, complex new product and software development projects
• The ability to gather functional and technical requirements utilising various methods, including workshops, interviews, etc
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Strong business facing capabilities and stakeholder engagement including senior leadership
