A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Business Analyst to join our business within a high growth phase. You will be joining us for a 1-year fixed term contract and supporting us in a period of change as we are currently undergoing a digital transformation project.

Our team is collaborative, diverse, hard-working and committed to enhancing the applications for students and end users. Your role will assist the Operations and Education Departments staff to prepare and support students to enable them to thrive during their studies at Insearch.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

• Gathering and analysing business requirements, document technical specifications and business process maps
• Implement configuration changes in accordance with design specifications and adhering to the ICT defined documented change and release policies.
• Participate and contribute in configuration activities for new projects.
• Gather and analyse business requirements for change requests and new initiatives.
• Maintain functional and technical documentation and keeping it up to date.
• Ensure impacts to technical systems and business processes are documented and stakeholders are engaged
• Work with the team to implement technical changes in accordance with vendor release specifications and adhering to the ICT defined change and release policies and processes
• Pro-active in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and automating processes to enhance integrations.
• Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years industry experience required.
• Strong ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point.
• Strong relationship building skills & communication skills.
• Experienced in developing business process maps.
• Excellent capability to understand and document business requirements.
• Understanding of Business Analysis practices including user stories.
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and explain them in simple terms.
• Able to work autonomously and is self-motivated. 
• Demonstrable skills in researching information and solving problems in unfamiliar technical environments. Achievement oriented, focused and well organised.
