FiNAO (failure is not an option) is a digital agency specialising in providing a range of customised solutions to a range of clients such as Sydney Water, Veolia, Lendlease, Broadcast Australia, Linbeck and ADCO.
We digitise paper based forms, processes and workflow into efficient and user-friendly online systems with automatically generated notifications, predetermined automated workflow and real time reporting. All of this customised and configured to our clients specific business requirements.

Job tasks and responsibilities
- Senior PHP Full-Stack Developer required to join an experienced team
- Enjoy the benefits of a relaxed, fun and casual environment, using agile development methodology on challenging and varied projects using the latest technologies and tools
- As a member of the development team, you will be tasked with development of new features, new components and optimise performance across a range of platforms and devices
- Scrum meeting daily at 9am, scrum poker and retros fortnightly

Skills and experience
At least 5 years agency / commercial experience required for this role.
- Commercial PHP development Experience using MVC frameworks such as Laravel 5.3 or Symfony
- Experience with LINUX (Ubuntu, Centos, Federa or RHEL)
- Experience with web architecture
- An understanding of Agile development methodology
- Design Patterns (MVC, IoC ...)
- MySql experience (SQL queries data modelling)
- Knowledge of Javascript / CSS / Jquery / Vue.js
- Knowledge of SPA
- Knowledge of a version control system such as GIT / SVN
- Experience with cloud hosting (AWS preferable)
- English written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have (at least experience with):
- Software: JIRA, BitBucket, Jenkins, Rollbar
- Experience with containers/container orchestration (eg. Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI / CD
