Immediate position available for an experienced Senior Desktop Engineer with well known mining organisation
Your new company
This Mining Market Leader is looking for a talented Seniro Desktop Engineer/ Network Admin for an initial 6 month contract with possible extension. This is a FIFO role that will be based on either a 4:3 OR 8:6 Roster.
You will join an innovative team that is coming together with a focus on identifying and implementing new ways of raising standards while improving productivity, safety and environmental impact.
Your new role
Working as part of an operational team you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of a large Network environment as well as helping with general Desktop duties. You will also assist in the delivery of a number of ongoing projects, and assist the team with organising, and implementing change where needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar FIFO role will lead to your success. You will have experience in Office 365,Windows 7/8/10, Active Directory, General trouble shooting, Routers and Switches, Network Troubleshooting and installation and maintenance of network equipment across a large scale.
Candidates with previous FIFO experience will be highly regarded.
