You'll be working with a dynamic operational team in a complex environment, working with cloud based solutions and assisting with cloud design strategies. Sound like you?!
The ideal candidate will have a track record of experience supporting applications in a high availability production environment and the following skills;
- Minimum 5 year's experience supporting applications in a high availability production environment,
- Linux System Administration experience, CentOS / RedHat are a preference,
- AGILE methodology
- Administering/troubleshooting experience with; Apache - Nginx - PHP Stacks / Apache - Tomcat - JBoss stacks - Wildfly Swarm
- Using/Configuring experience with Puppet, Saltstack etc,
- Server/application monitoring tools such as Splunk, Cacti, Nagios,
- Strong understanding of the Website performance troubleshooting / caching strategies
- BASH, PHP OR Python scripting experience,
- HTTP Protocol,
- Load balancers,
- Basic network services,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills.
Desirable experience;
- Docker, Rocket, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Mesos,
- AWS (EC2 / VPS / ELB / S3),
- PHP Frameworks/CMS's, Drupal, WordPress etc,
- NoSQL Databases,
- GIT/SVN, and
- Maven / Jenkins / Team City etc.
