As a Business Analyst you will assist with one or more projects within the Technology program. These projects will be in the aviation technology space and require interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
 
Your responsibilities

• Work with project stakeholders to define business and systems problems and their causes, as well as options for their resolution. This will include using facilitation techniques such as workshops, presentations, and written communication.
• Determine and document business processes, business rules and requirements specifications to capture business and system requirements.
• Develop test plans and procedures based on the agreed requirements.
• Develop and review product descriptions for project deliverables.
• Work co-operatively and collaboratively with project staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to build positive working relationships.

Your skills

• Proven Business Analyst experience undertaking information gathering and analysis, documenting requirements and test plans and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, with strong time management and organisational skills, and manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations to deliver required outcomes.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation/facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, building positive, ongoing relationships.
• Relevant Business Analysis qualifications such as BABOK and memberships in Australian Computer Society, or equivalent work experience highly desirable.
