We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Tester (permanent) to come join ClearView - located in the heart of Sydney CBD. If you are a talented Automation Tester with experience working in the financial services space and have a knack in creating functional automation tests in an Agile environment, you might be the person we're looking for.

You will contributes to the success of ClearView through the formulation and maintenance of the test strategy and plan, provide management reporting and execute test case scenarios. You will also supports the delivery of projects in line with the business strategy, facilitates Change Management functions and coordinate UAT.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Analysis of business requirements, functional specifications and any other supporting documentation.
• Create and document Test Scripts, Test Designs (Test Cases and Test Data) and Test Execution Results.
• Create and maintain functional automation tests using tools such as C# or Java, cucumber, Selenium and SOAPUI
• Execute SIT/Functional and Regression Testing to identify, analyse and report software defects.
• Engage end users, define User Test Cases and coach them through the UAT Process and associated reporting.
• Quality Assurance - Collaborate with Business Consultants and Stakeholders to ensure appropriate test schedule and coverage.
• Ensure appropriate prioritisation and forecasting in order to reflect business or technical priorities.
• Continuous improvement of the testing processes and methodology.

 
Key Requirements are:

• ISTQB/ISEB Qualification (preferred) and Tertiary Qualified.
• Ability to interact with databases via SQL.
• At least 3 - 4 years' experience in software and web application testing in financial services, ideally having experience within Wealth Management across Insurance, Superannuation and Wealth.
• Previous relevant experience in a test or technical support environment.
• ITIL Foundation - desirable.
• Visual studio, Selenium, SOAPUI, cucumber, Java or C#, Jira
• Experience in writing and executing Test Plans and Cases.
• C# or Java programming - experience developing automated test framework components
• Knowledge and experience of testing for both an Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies and work in an agile team.
• Producing timely high quality reports and documentation.
• Ability to understand business and functional requirements and to map them to test cases.
• Financial services background, ideally in a small to medium sized organisation.
