Role Description:

  • Sells Lenovo Datacentre Group solutions.
  • Build senior technical & business relationships across the CXO and business leaders.
    Sells proactively and independently into new and existing client base.
  • Works with assigned virtual teams to close opportunities.
  • Gains in-depth understanding of the client's business requirements, technical requirements and competitive landscape.
  • Works directly with customers, BPs and alliance partners to drive a cohesive solution to the customer.
  • Penetrates net new accounts for the Lenovo Data Center Group.
  • Educates customers on Lenovo’s technology and develops a working knowledge of Lenovo’s Enterprise offerings.
  • Maintains market and competitive knowledge to ensure credibility with customers.
  • Delivers complex solutions covering all enterprise products & partner solutions.
  • Works with technical resources to deliver comprehensive technical solutions where appropriate.

Previous Experience Required:

  • Ideally 5+ years experience in selling server solutions.Excellent relationship building, negotiating, and technical skills.
  • 3-5 years of product sales experience required in one or more of the following roles: Datacentre BDM, Datacentre Account Executive, Datacentre Systems Consultant.
  • Experienced in the strategic selling of future and current technologies.
  • The ability to communicate business benefits at both high level and a detailed level.
  • The ability to tailor communication style to meet the audience’s needs.
  • Integrity, willingness to provide feedback in challenging situations.
  • Independent and self-starter.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills

Technical Competency Required:

  • Strong knowledge of datacentre challenges including but not limited to software-defined datacentre, virtualization, storage, application workload management, and IT simplification/consolidation, server hardware.
  • Knowledge of x86 products / Solutions / networking.
  • Design and configure x86 server/storage/network
