One of our premium clients based in the Melbourne CBD is looking for an experienced Digital Designer. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of the company.
The Digital Designer works closely with the Senior Digital Designer and is part of the Digital Content & Design team.
Skills & Experience
- Outstanding digital design skills with a proven capacity to design and develop digital designs for a range of purposes and audiences
- Wide-ranging design problem solving experience
- Designing, developing and producing a wide range of both static and dynamic media types such as infographics, data visualisations, interactive elements, 3D visuals, animations and video that meet accessibility standards.
- Design experience working with Scala and digital signage systems will be highly valued
- You will be highly organised in your approach and possess the ability to work independently and manage conflicting deadlines and priorities
- Experience working with a variety of content management systems
- Excellent understanding of the interactions between design and digital technologies and front-end development including skills in HTML5, CSS and responsive development libraries like Bootstrap or Foundation will be highly valued
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and foster cooperative workplace relationships
- Ability to confidently facilitate workshops and meetings will be critical to your success in this role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional (minimum 3 years) experience working in digital design or digital production, particularly with experience in web technologies and interfaces
