Technical Writer

Salary: $70-90k + super
Who are they?
Salt are working with a pioneer in A.I. They have built a suite of products that are used across audio/visual recognition, predictive modelling, and bespoke data visualisation that are being used by the biggest names in APAC. With a management team comprised of ex-Googlers they’re going through massive growth.
What will you be doing?
This is a unique content role. You’ll work closely with the Engineering team to create clear and detailed documentation for their development practice. This will help new Engineers learn the systems and code base quickly.
You’ll also have the freedom to write engaging technical content for their website and blogs to help build their brand in the Sydney and worldwide tech community.
This is ideally a full time role, but there is flexibility for part time as well.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Create a range of technical documents including; UIs, APIs, system overviews, design decisions, product and system configuration.
- Interview technical stakeholders to determine needs and understanding the systems and process being documented.
- Format material produced to be line with other technical documents in a way that it is clear and concise for readers to understand.
- Manage multiple documentation assignments simultaneously.
- Create engaging content for the website and blogs with a technical focus
- Work with marketing and tech teams equally to ensure content is inline with their brand
