The Organisation:
This central Commonwealth agency provides support to the Australian community and also plays a key role in enabling other Commonwealth agencies to operate efficiently and effectively through the creation and continuous monitoring of processes relating to programs and initiatives.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to deliver a corporate systems and process project that will change the way Federal Government operates. You will be working in a small team oversighting the technology team. You will work across stakeholders from different business areas, as well as collaborating across agencies for a whole of Government solution. Coming in early on the project means you will support the design behind an innovative solution.
The Role:
The project has recently commenced the first phase of a three phase roll out. The project involves implementing a Whole of Government real time payment functionality.
You will:
- scope and plan the project;
- manage project scope, risks and issues;
- assist in development and implementation of stakeholder engagement and communications plans;
- contribute to internal and external governance and reporting processes;
- assist in producing detailed project schedules
- manage project teams’ delivery
The Person:
You are someone who takes pride in ensuring diverse stakeholders are accountable so the work gets done. You understand and will enjoy the complexities and challenges required when delivering a Whole of Government initiative.
Applicants with previous experience working for a central agency and/or experience with the delivery of financial transformation projects will be considered favourably.
Baseline clearance is strongly desirable.
The Rate:
$75 - $100/hr + Super
Or $85 - $110hr + GST based on skills and experience.
Initial 6 - 12 month contract with extension options available for the right candidate.
