A successful IT Support Analyst must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.

The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Manage user account information, including rights, security and systems groups
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedules
- Participation in Systems Support including some after hours
- Server administration and maintenance (AWS environment)
- Network implementation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Manage maintenance, upgrading and monitoring of IT systems
- Create and update system administration documentation
- Conduct security tasks including vulnerability scans and penetration tests
- Jira administration
Essential:
- Qualified in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience working with high availability systems and networks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Linux Systems Administration skills – Red Hat/CentOS
- Experience administering and supporting Windows PC and Office 365 in SME environment
- Scripting skills in at least two languages - Bash, Python, PHP
- Microsoft certifications e.g. Microsoft Certified IT Professional
- Experience working with automation tools - Ansible/Puppet/Chef
- Experience using monitoring services (Nagios preferred)
- Experience with virtualization technologies - Virtualbox, KVM
- Preferred knowledge in: IPSec VPN
- Experience with AWS
Desirable:
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira
- Experience of ISO 27001 documentation
- Experience working with web based applications
