As part of our continued success and with significant inroads into the Federal Government, an opportunity has arisen for a Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer with a Tier 1 Department to take on a 12-month contract opportunity.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Formal ICT qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution or demonstrated skills and experience;
- 4+ years’ of cabling experience in Data Centre deployments;
- Demonstrated experience in data centre design and migration;
- Strong solution design and hands-on deployment within the data centre environment;
- Demonstrated ability to apply high quality detailed technical knowledge to ensure solutions are implemented effectively with a strong emphasis on high quality;
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills, particularly relevant in translating technical information to non-technical peers and stakeholders;
- Specified Personnel must hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA) or be willing to undergo and obtain an AGSVA clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance as a minimum).
