About the Company
Our client is a highly respected Sydney University, who is undergoing a major transformation with multiple projects running throughout IT and the business.
About the Role
Our client is about to embark on a Student Management System replacement program, including a curriculum rules & policies review project. These will include extensive systems and data flow analysis. In this role you will work very closely with the Senior Solutions Architect to analyse the systems and data flow requirements.
To be successful in this role you will need strong data analysis and technical business analysis skills, within the education sector. Additionally, you will have to have specific curriculum and/or student management system experience. Please only apply if you have this experience.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive past experience as an end to end Senior Technical Business Analyst, working within large, complex, enterprise wide environments. This includes, process mapping, gathering requirements, writing business requirements, test specifications, gap analysis, analytical ability, use cases, running workshops, etc);
- Vast knowledge of student management and/or curriculum systems is essential;
- Systems and data flow analysis experience is absolutely essential;
- Strong process mapping experience experience is also essential;
- Industry sector can be across government, education or commercial, as long as you have diverse industry sector experience, showing you can learn about new businesses quickly;
- Must be proactive, with the ability to work at all levels within an organisation;
- Will need superior stakeholder communication and management skills, be comfortable liaising with the most senior levels within the organisation, be flexible, adaptable and collaborative;
- Agile and Waterfall methodology experience is essential.

Terms
- 6-month initial contract with potential for further extension;
- Paying a daily rate in the region of $750-800 per day (negotiable depending on skills and experience).
