Insyston is an Australian owned company and a market leader in the development and implementation of asset finance system solutions. We are currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect to join our North Sydney based team working in a highly agile environment.
You will need to have a product mindset, be able to empathise with the customer's experience and understand their needs. Cutting corners means future bugs and support tickets down the line, the role will require a balance of Delivery and Quality. Able to negotiate and influence.
Development is not a key function for this role however a strong technical background is a must as this will be driving a high-performance team. Extensive experience in development fundamentals is essential to ensure you can support the team, problem solve, mentor, and assist with the architecture and development of well-engineered solutions.
Success in the role will require a broad range of skills required in the SDLC. Exposure to the finance industry would be highly beneficial but not mandatory.
The successful applicant will have:
- 5+ years’ experience designing and implementing enterprise grade solutions
- Hold a current MCSD certification
- Project delivery experience - able to manage multiple software projects within budget and maintain delivery & quality across multiple teams
- Strong people management skills including being able to coach and develop talent
- Communicate confidently and constructively in different and difficult situations, able to articulate complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences
- Proven experience managing both onshore and offshore teams
- Very familiar with varied flavours of agile, and GIT source control management.
- Passionate about emerging technology including cloud and mobile
- Strong analytical mindset. Leverages data to make product decisions
- Strong problem solver with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to help get the job done
- Extensive development background in .net and Microsoft technologies to create prototypes, perform code reviews and be highly capable of producing solution designs, architecture documents and estimates
- Technical background in Cloud computing and Dev Ops, ideally in the Microsoft Azure environment.
