Fender Katsalidis is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Sydney studio in the newly-created role of IT Support Technician.
Reporting to our Melbourne-based IT Manager, and with support from various service providers; the primary focus of this role is level 1 and 2 user desktop and network administration support to the Sydney professional team.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- User desktop troubleshooting and help desk support;
- AV troubleshooting;
- End-user hardware and software installation as directed;
- Workstation configuration and portable device set-ups;
- Maintaining logs of user requests and resolution;
- User level basic training and IT induction;
- Back-up and archiving procedures; and
- Maintaining local equipment log and assets list.
Daily interaction with users requires timely, effective and friendly written and verbal communication skills.
Our ideal candidate will have approximately 2 years of experience in a desktop support role. We are seeking an applicant who is proactive, willing to learn and with the ability to deal well under pressure while maintaining a positive, friendly and professional attitude and approach.
Certificate or diploma level qualifications in IT will be highly regarded. Training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.

This is a full-time role 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday; with the requirement to be punctual, reliable and have a reasonably flexible attitude towards working hours from time to time.
