You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the integration of new applications into the existing systems throughout the enterprise. Along with this you will also be responsible for the following:

• Involvement with multiple integration projects and ensure that they meet business requirements and goals.
• Fulfil the end user integration requirements outlined in Business Requirement Specifications.
• Identify and resolve any system issues or risks during the project life cycle.
• Make recommendations regarding integration requirements.
• Research and analysis to provide advice with integration requirements for older out of support systems.
• Collaborate with the business and vendors to identify the features that might be of value to the project.
• Work with the analysts, system designers, and business owners to lead in the integration testing phase.
• Communicate with the developers and architects to address any problems.
• Improve the business process through integration.
• Minimizing the impact of integration on various existing processes and systems.
• Evaluating the results of the projects integration and contributing to project reports.
• Conduct workshop with architects, solution designers, vendor, testing and development teams.
• Read and understand solution integration specifications.

Following are some of the other key skills required for the position of Integration Specialist:

• Minimum three to five years of experience with application integration.
• Link separate internal and external systems as required to support business workflows.
• Maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
• Knowledge about various architectures and protocols.
• Demonstrated high quality of written technical documentation.  
• Experience with data architecture and application architecture.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with mobile applications
• HL7 or equivalent experience.
• TAP integration experience
• API integrations
• Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance  industry best practices and methodologies;
• Experience in synchronous as well as asynchronous messaging between systems (mainly in the communications space);
