Senior Analyst – IT Vendor Management
6 month initial contract

My client is a major government organisation and has won numerous awards for their products and services. The organisation has a very flat structure and a friendly climate around the offices. The culture is very supportive and collegiate and driven towards common outcomes.
The Role -
Responsible for the full contract management lifecycle within IT, management of relationships with key IT vendors as well as reporting of IT Vendor Management activities to senior management.
KEY POSITION OBJECTIVES
- Assist with the development of strategies, recommendations and plans for the IT Vendor Management Office.
- Manage all stages of contract management, including contract negotiation while liaising with Legal
- Conduct commercial negotiations to ensure the right outcome, while maintaining compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Manage productive and professional relationships with IT vendor to ensure the right outcomes
- Actively manage the performance of key vendors to contractual obligations.
- Provide reporting for the IT Vendor Management Office relating to the contracts register, compliance with relevant policies, savings register and other areas as needed.
