Technical Systems Analyst

With offices in Melbourne and Sydney and a range of both Australian and international financial services clients, LAB Group is an ISO27001 certified software company that provides LABform – a market leading customer acquisition, digital signing and electronic identity verification Software-as-a-Service solution.  LABform is widely used by financial services businesses including Banks, Fund Managers, Stockbrokers and Cryptobrokers and has continually evolved in order to solve the latest registration, compliance, identity and customer engagement challenges.

Reporting directly to the CTO, the person we're looking for will have a mix of programming, infrastructure, testing and analysis skills designed to augment the existing engineering and support teams in a range of technical tasks relating to the day-to-day use and growth of our cloud based products and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree or qualifications (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems)

Key skills and experience required

• Supporting and maintaining web applications and associated infrastructure
• Working with Microsoft SQL databases and queries (strong SQL experience a must)
• Managing Microsoft infrastructure stacks (e.g. Windows Server, IIS, SQL server)
• Working with cloud–based and virtualised infrastructure environments (e.g. AWS)
• Deploying websites, databases, Windows services, web-services
• Working with configuration files and system settings in XML, JSON and other formats
• Troubleshooting system, software and performance issues
• Reviewing existing software code (C#, ASP.Net) to troubleshoot system behavior
• Monitoring and reviewing system and application logs files
• Maintaining automated testing and automated deployment frameworks (e.g. Octopus Deploy)
• Preparing SQL and/or Excel reports from complex underlying schemas
• Maintaining and enhancing existing IS027001 certification processes and documentation
• Excellent and proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Liaising with third parties and other stakeholders
• Exposure to Atlassian product suite (Confluence, JIRA) or similar
• Exposure to Zendesk support desk or similar
• Excellent written skills and a good telephone manner
• Customer service for maintenance requests
• An extremely high attention to detail

This is a full-time position working from our offices in the Melbourne CBD.
