Transurban is driving major changes across its information and cyber security landscape by building a centralized model to provide security services across enterprise and operational technology. Aiming to identify, control, and reduce the attack surface across the business while increasing our adversaries cost of attack.



As the Security Policy and Compliance Specialist you will be charged to ensure all operational aspects of security are in line with Transurban’s policies, business requirements and risk position. You’ll help implement successful overall security compliance delivery which will include performing third party supplier cyber risk assessment, governing internal security compliance program and contributing to process development. You’ll assist with achievement of security reviews and tracking organizational compliance to regulatory standards and information security policy. The impact you’ll have

• You’ll be involved in identifying security control requirements, and developing/evolving the security policies, procedure and standards
• You’ll ensure appropriate security controls applicable for Enterprise Technology  and Operational Technology environments are clearly identified and incorporated into the security polices and standards
• You’ll identify Transurban’s security compliance requirements against key regulatory and industry recommended practices  and through by providing expert-level technical security knowledge you will assist the business to meet enterprise compliance requirements
• You’ll play a leading role in conducting third party security risk assessment and identifying the risk remediation recommendations
• You’ll support information security awareness needs promote and monitor ongoing organisation wide Security Awareness Program.
  
  

The talents you’ll bring

• You’ll bring with you signification prior experience in Information Security
• You’ll have demonstrable experience developing and managing an information security governance, risk and compliance practises along with working knowledge of PCI DSS and familiarity with security/industry standards (eg. NIST etc.)
• You’ll be an expert at defining processes and document procedures in a Security environment using your knowledge of Information Security policy, risk and compliance
• You’ll be able to identify and advise on current trends and information sources for managing information security
• You’ll have experience in planning and conducting security awareness campaigns across the organisation.
