One of our government clients is looking for a Windows Server Administrator to join their team to be based near Sydney CBD for an initial 12m contract + possible extension . This role requires a proactive, energetic person that is customer driven and team focused in delivering quality solutions without close supervision.

Essential Skills

Proven experience in Windows Server Administration, including;

• Strong remote server troubleshooting experience
  
• Proven patch deployment experience
  
• Operational SCOM monitoring techniques
  
• Established Configuration Manager deployment experience
  
  Proven Windows network operating system services, including;
  
• Operational knowledge of DHCP scope deployments and VLAN configuration
  
• Experience with HyperV Virtualization technology configuration
  
  Proven experience in Dell hardware configuration, comprising of;
  
• Proven experience with RAID hardware configuration
  
• Operational knowledge of remote vendor management tools
  
  Operational competency of Windows scripting techniques, specifically in;
  
• Windows PowerShell commandlets and standalone scripts
