Globus Family of Brands is currently looking for two new IT Helpdesk Operators to join our growing team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all IT and communication issues and provide 1st and 2nd level support related to computer systems, hardware or software. Our Infrastructure team is currently a team of 3, and you will be supported by an experienced ICT Team Leader and Operations Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide technical assistance and support for queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Receive and log request for support via IT Servicedesk inbox.
- Install and commission desktop systems and routine upgrades.
- Maintain systems and procedural documentation.
- Monitor the implementation of new systems and ensure all are running satisfactorily.
- Communicate daily with Management staff and employees for IT helpdesk issues or requests.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE
- Ideally, a minimum of 1 year technical helpdesk support experience.
- Previous experience using CRM systems, Cisco and VM
- Clear and exceptional communication skills are a must! (verbal & written)
- Moderate experience with Remote Desktop Support
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Primarily Windows based experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments
