An extremely rare opportunity has become available with one of Australia's largest regional media companies, Grant Broadcasters.
The Grant Broadcasters Digital Media Team are responsible for the delivery of products that are designed to provide complimentary and contemporary media solutions for our regional radio audiences.
With almost 30 markets from Darwin to Hobart and a Digital Media team based in 8 separate locations, this is a role for a very special person with very special skills. The role does not have a defined base location however our Brisbane office would be the preference.
The Development Manager, Digital Media is responsible for the infrastructure, product development and software requirements of the Digital Media product set. In addition, this position is also responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to the Digital Media team and workflow of the Development team.
In this role you are fully accountable for the delivery of work assignments on time and to expectations in terms of quality, deliverables and outcomes. Work collaboratively across multiple work streams with end-users, IT, and subject-matter experts, including management in multiple Business areas. You will require the ability to identify and deliver quick wins for the business and other stakeholders whilst working on the longer-term solution.
Your accountabilities
- Manage and own the support function for the Digital Media Team
- Provide technical training and day to day support to the Digital Media team
- Manage the planning and delivery of projects to deliver organisational initiatives
- Technical scoping of projects, including wire framing and presentation back to the business
- Manage all aspects of the project management cycle, including preparing project plans, identifying and allocating resources, communication and meeting reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time and to quality standards
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met
To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following skills/experience:
- Excellent internal stakeholder management and communication skills
- 2+ years' experience in a similar digital agency / multi-stakeholder environment and/or a multi-market media company
- Solid experience working as a Digital Project manager
- Ability to think laterally / creatively and "find a way"
- Advanced understanding of CMS such as Joomla and Wordpress
- Advanced understanding of web technologies including front end HTML, CSS and more
- Working knowledge of Search (SEM/SEO), UX, website design and customer experience metrics
- Excellent project management skills and able to juggle multiple projects at the same time
- Flawless communication skills
- Knowing a bit about radio, would also be nice
