Are you a SQL Developer with Teradata experience? If the answer is yes, this large government agency is looking for you...

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large government agency improving the lives of thousands of Australians. Working with large data sets, you will be the foremost SQL expert in the company.

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

Understand, analyse and size user requirements
Development and maintenance of SQL analytical and ETL code
Adherence to agreed standards and good practices
Optimisation and tuning of SQL code to ensure optimal performance
Development and maintenance of system documentation
Work within a state of the art, greenfields dev ops environment
Collaboration with data consumers, database development, testers and IT support teams

You should have the following skills and experience:

Must be an Australian Citizen for Security Clearance purposes
Expertise in SQL
Knowledge of metadata/model driven frameworks
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience reverse engineering end user SQL code
Ideally experience working with a SQL database like Teradata; knowledge of Teradata’s UDI and GCFR
Ideally experience with Dev Ops and Data Warehousing
