Are you an Operations Developer with Automation and Testing experience? If the answer is yes, this large Government agency is looking for you...

This is a great opportunity to join a large Government agency improving the lives of thousands of Australians.

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

Understand, analyse and size user requirements
Design, advise and implement end to end processes and end workflows
Design, advise and implement end-to-end business processes and suggested work methods that enable high performance development
Design, advise, implement standards and ensure adherence to agreed standards and practices
Provide feedback through automation on build and timings of processes
Produce a testing, DevOps and continuous improvement strategy
Development and maintenance of system documentation
Work within a state of the art, greenfield DevOps environment
Collaboration with data consumers, database development, testers and IT support teams

You should have the following skills and experience:

Ability to code and script
Comfort with with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
Strong grasp of automation tools
Data management skills
A strong focus on business outcomes
Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
Ideally experience working with a SQL database like Teradata; knowledge of Teradata’s UDI and GCFR
Experience with DevOps and Data Warehousing
