About the Role
Our client is looking for multiple SQL Developers to jump on board immediately! Working alongside the Sustainability Team (Actuarial and Reporting) and the Regional Performance Analysts, you will be responsible for the following:
- Understanding, analysing and sizing user requirements;
- Development and maintenance of SQL analytical and ETL code;
- Adherence to agreed standards and good practices;
- Optimisation and tuning of SQL code to ensure optimal performance;
- Development and maintenance of system documentation;
- Work within a state of the art, greenfields dev ops environment;
- Collaboration with Data Consumers, Database Development, Testers and IT Support Teams.
Skills & Experience
- Expertise in SQL.
- Knowledge of metadata/model driven frameworks.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience reverse engineering end user SQL code.
- Experience working with a SQL database like Teradata.
- Knowledge of Teradata's UDI and GCFR.
- Experience with Dev Ops and Data Warehousing.
- Ability to work within a team and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
