This global provider of IT Services & Solutions is looking for an experienced PM (who is either a citizen or holds PR).with good Project Management experience gained in the Wealth Management Industry.
 
This is an initial 6 month project, paying $500 - $600p/d and is located in Sydney CBD.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the Program Manager
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Determine resourcing required for the project
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
  • Review the project schedule with Program Manager and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
  • Determine & document criteria upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
  • Execute the project according to the project plan
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff on the progress of the project
  • Write reports on the project for management and other stakeholders
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
Required Background:
  • 10 years Project Manager experience
  • 3+ years current experience within the Wealth Management Industry
  • Strong stakeholder management & client engagement skills
  • Analytical, problem solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Demonstrable prioritisation & conflict resolution skills
  • Proven interpersonal and negotiation skills; team leadership
  • University Degree in a related field Professional designation
  • Prince 2 or PMP
