Our Client

An industry leader in transport based software and technology, has identified a new opportunity to contract talented Web Developers to expand to their Development team and assist in embarking on a venture to develop a major global solution.

About the Role

As an Web Developer, you'll be a hands on part of their highly innovative Software Development Team and assist in creating a unique product which combines cutting-edge innovation and systems in one core, scalable, real-time system capable of running on premise or in the Cloud.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Develop, design, code and test software solutions.
• Evaluate technical risk and make quick decisions within an Agile Environment.
• Develop automated unit tests.
• Implement peer-reviewed software
• Object-oriented design.

Key Criteria

You must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of Angular and Typescript is a must
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of object-oriented design and implementation.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development practices.
• Working within an Agile Environment.
• Application development under Windows Server or Linux.
• User Experience (UX) design
• REST based web services.
• Node.JS
• Jasmine and Protractor.

Desirable but not required:

• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency in Automated Acceptance Test frameworks such as Cucumber.
