Greythorn Adelaide has multiple clients requring engnieers currently, our clients develop and manufacture complete system solutions for the agriculture, manufacturing, financial and Mining industry. 
The software being created offers feature-rich user interfaces and scanning technology. The technology is used to automate machinery and control it remotely with Satellite positioning systems.

As a Contract Senior Software Engineer you will be required to:

• Develop and debug software in C++
• Contribute to all phases of the software life-cycle
• Actively participate in shaping the user experience for our customers
• Provide technical support and mentoring to other team members
• Assist in preparing work estimates, project schedules and ensure software deliverables are brought to completion.
• To be successful you will have the following attributes:
• Strong knowledge of C++ development and Object Oriented design.
• Ability to create multi-threaded, event-driven applications.
• Self-motivated and able to perform without supervision.
• Able to work in a team environment of 20 software engineers.
• A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering (or equivalent)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
  
• Experience in the following areas is also highly regarded:
• Qt Framework.
• C++11.
• OpenGL.
• Linux Development Tools.
• Cross Platform Development.
