A leading financial organisation is looking for multiple cyber engineers to join and grow their team. They are looking for L3 engineers, strong across the Symantec tool stack. This is an exciting role for a well-known and flexible financial institution. The team works in a very collaborative environment and this is an organisation at the forefront of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 technical operations (break/fix) support, run and manage operational activities across a portfolio of security technologies, in particular endpoint security controls and policies
- Provide consultation and to project teams as an operational SME
- Responsible to improve application performance, service improvement and end user experience
- Accountable to provide technical impact assessments on project deliverables
- Responsible for delivering platform automation initiatives to increase platform maturity
- Review and analyse requirements from projects to identify opportunities/gap for Operations
- Support transitioning target architecture from current to desired state and provide Operations feedback
- Review Production changes to maintain stability and resiliency
- Manage Production workload to maintain application availability
- Incident management with service restore to operate and run Production operations
- Manage service request pipelines to provide service satisfaction and enhance user experience
- Manage and monitor system, application performance and govern technical operations (L1.5,L2) team
- Act as a product SME to L2 support teams
Key Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in information security drawn from an operational environment such as managed services or security operations
- Having relevant engineering and development experience
- Experience in service transition and SDLC in a product or process environment
Experience in any of the following domains is highly desirable:
- Anti-Malware and other endpoint controls
- McAfee Endpoint Products
- Data Loss Prevention
- Vulnerability Management
- Application of security controls in a cloud context
- Email Hygiene
- Cloud Access Shadow Brokers and/or Proxy
