Our client is seeking to engage a service desk / helpdesk officer for a 3 month period.

The Role:

  • Providing quality first level IT phone support to all staff
  • Providing first level support in response to customer emails and self service requests
  • Logging of all customer requests into service management system
  • Create and manage changes to user accounts
  • Assist with troubleshooting certain second level support incidents
  • Maintain a high level of customer service at all times

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Significant demonstrable experience and knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems
  • Significant experience in Service Desk / ICT support particularly of 0365 applications and voice, Microsoft Office productivity suites, the latest mobile solutions and an understanding of the operational maintenance of standard operating environments (SOE)
  • Qualifications in the Information Technology field (Degree, Certificate IV, MCP, MCSE, ITIL) are desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a focused and responsive approach to managing enquiries
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written with proficiency in documenting the results of Customer feedback, technical issues and other investigations.
  • Knowledge and experience in both Problem and Major Incident management
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with issues effectively under pressure and in handling, resolving and escalating in crisis situations.
  • Demonstrated excellence with interpersonal and relationship management skills including the capacity to successfully relate to all levels of managers and staff as well as external partners.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities and be able to self-manage deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, possess a good team spirit and demonstrate willingness and flexibility to take on any IT activities.
  • Up to date Police Clearance
  • Passionate and driven
