About the Role

As a .Net Software Engineer you’ll be a key part of our IRESSnet Data Feed team which processes over 100 million transactions per day from global, high profile financial institutions. This is an integral part our flagship Trading and Financial Planning products (XPLAN – video here)

• Tech stack includes .Net, C#, Python, HTML, Javascript, SQL Server 2008
• Tools include JIRA, Git, SonarQube, Artifactory, and TeamCity
• Develop high-quality automation test scripts to improve test coverage and product quality
• Be part of a collaborative team as we implement AGILE methods and improve our automated testing and continuous delivery pipelines
• Review and analyse business requirements whilst enhancing our product offering
• You'll gain exposure to modern development methods as we migrate to AWS and introduce DevOps practices
• You’ll identify product and process weaknesses and possible refinements
• You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills learn from industry specialists . Our engineers also use Pluralsight.
• Be part of an environment that fosters innovation and welcomes new ideas
• Keep up to date with technical trends, tools and methodologies, undertake research as required

With a new CTO who joined us last year, we have a strong vision to continually improve the way we build world-class products. You’ll help us in our goal to become the most desirable technology company in Financial Services during an exciting period of change. We’ve doubled in size in the last few years and they’ll be plenty of opportunities to grow. This includes developing your technical and/or leadership skills or simply solving new problems in other teams.

This is a excellent role for an Entry Level developer or a Mid Level engineer looking to solve new, complex problems in a fast growing Fintech.

About You

• A desire to apply sound software engineer and Agile delivery principles
• Experience in a similar role as Software Engineer, Developer, Programmer etc.
• Familiar with any combination of .Net, C#, Microsoft SQL Server and Python.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Creative mindset with an appetite to tackle complex problems
