Role Overview
Civica is currently recruiting a Senior .NET Developer in our Health Solutions business to be a key contributor to .NET project development and system maintenance.  Working with leaders in the Health Insurance market to build relationships and provide exceptional support.

Responsibilities

• .NET project development and system maintenance for Health Solutions
• HTML / CSS / JavaScript based client-side programming for interactive web pages
• C# based server-side programming for middleware and core logic
• Interpreting broad business requirements, and providing innovative solutions
• Requirements gathering, product development and maintenance, and solution proposals
• System demonstration, release, implementation and documentation
• Customer liaison and support
• Consistently maintaining a high-quality development standard
• Handling enquiries and providing support, tackling challenging issues, and troubleshooting
• Some mentoring or support for Junior Software Developers within the team

About You

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in .NET Frameworks (2.04.6) and C#
• A degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and/or Computer Science
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing and quality assurance processes for new systems
• Solid background in ASP.NET (C#), MVC, MVVM, AJAX, DHTML, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS
• Comprehensive knowledge on HTML / CSS / JavaScript libraries & frameworks well to pass our client-side programming ability test
• Comprehensive knowledge on.NET Frameworks, C#, Web APIs and Entity Framework well to pass our server-side programming ability test
• Familiarity with SOAP Web services, WCF Services, WCF Data Services, and XML
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL server and SQL
• Ability to troubleshoot
• High attention to detail with strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Ability to maintain a high level of organisation and proactivity under pressure
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with team members
