Now is the time to Join an a Big Data Engineering team with a focus on real-time Data Streaming in Financial Services.

We have Multiple L/T Contract roles available with a much longer term view due to the phenomenal demand to up-skill Big Data Engineering capabilities. 

The Roles:
As a Big Data Engineer you will process large amounts of Data, build the enterprise DataWarehouse Assets. You will Ingest the Data and create Applications on top of Big Data Platforms.

You will use Spark and MapReduce, Building pipelines for ingestion of high quality data.

You will Define standards & frameworks for data pipelines to support the analytics platform. You will Collaborate to define the Big Data architecture and technology selection. 

In this role you will be working on real-time ingestion, real-time compute, ingesting data and processing data in real-time.

This Org is using Kafka streaming, Spark, MapReduce, NoSQL Cassandra, Elastic Search and more.

Experience Required:
* Strong Python and Java Development Exp (Essential)
* Java Full-Stack Development experience 
* Scala Programming Exp (Ideal)
* Experience Processing Large Amounts of Data
* Deep knowledge of Spark & MapReduce
* Computer Science Degree (Essential)
* 5-10 years Programming Exp
* Knowledge of Kafka & Spark 
* Object Orientated Programming background
* Big Data Engineering Exp 
* Relational DB's, ETL tools & Data Profiling Exp (Desirable)
* C and C++ Programming Exp for Machine Learning (Also an area of interest)
