One of our large infrastructure clients is looking for a Senior Business Analyst – IT (Finance/Treasury/Banking and RFI is preferred).
Initial contract is 6 months starting as soon as available and is based in Barangaroo, Sydney, CBD.
Role Purpose:

• Requirements elicitation and detailing, stakeholder analysis & vendor engagement on the Global Banking Platform Project, a major treasury and financial platform transformation project within the client's organisation. 
• Providing into and influence to the development and formalisation of an RFP document, and input into evaluation metrics and criteria.  Providing support for RFP QA sessions and Technology Assessment of responses.  

Accountabilities:

• Reporting to the Project Manager this role will be the IT Business Analyst on the Global Banking Platform Project.
• Your key area of responsibility will be the elicitation and detailing of requirements; providing input and influence into RFP documentation and input into the development of RFP response evaluation criteria and methodology.
• Experience and knowledge within finance and treasury functions and / or payment bureau services would be an advantage. 
• In addition, knowledge of SWIFT technology (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) would also be considered as an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science and/or a related discipline, combined with extensive experience across multiple roles.
• Problem solving, technical and analytical skills to support the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures and programs.

Experience:

• Experience working within finance and/or treasury functions. 
• Experience in working as part of the team in delivering finance projects for larger clients (>5000 employees)
• Experience in large multi-faceted projects 
• Experience with design of new processes and procedures
• Experience with RFP definition and formalisation.
• Experience with RFP response evaluation and vendor selection, including vendor engagement.
• Desirable experience with SWIFT and Payment Bureau Services.
