This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a Medical applications domain and make a difference to people’s lives. You will be working on active product development and ongoing support activities.

As the Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Design, Develop and Test software in compliance with the applicable sections of the our Quality Management System.
• Investigate and analyse software related issues.
• Learn new skills quickly through internal and external training.
• Develop and contribute to product documentation.
• Define technical procedures.
• Maintain & configure development and test environments following DevOps principles.
• Strive to provide detailed effort estimates for software design implementation.
• Provide feedback through development reviews.
• Implement our values and processes.

You will possess:

• Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• A Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Software Development including exposure to the full software development life cycle.
• Implementation experience with software development technologies subject to project needs. Technologies may include:
• Microsoft .Net Framework C# with experience developing desktop applications using WPF, WCF and ADO.NET technologies
• Developing Database applications using SQL Server.
• Experience in the use of Version control systems such as GIT.
• Experience in developing applications for Microsoft Windows Platforms.
• Software solution design experience including Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques and patterns.
• Good verbal, documentation and communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with the following technologies: Dapper, NHibernate, NUnit, NAnt, Windows Installer
• Agile practices: Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, Continuous build/integration
• Experience working on medical applications or other regulated application domains would be highly regarded.
