Our client requires the services of an experienced Business Intelligence / Database Administration to join their team.Job Role:
- provide technical and database support to multiple systems to ensure the accuracy, availability and performance efficiency of the Client;
- design, develop and implement database systems based on user needs;
- coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop relational databases;
- prepare design specifications and functional documentation;
- provide support and assistance to data migration, cleansing activities and performance tuning;
- perform technical analysis of data structures to offer tailored reporting solutions to meet user needs;
- upgrade existing reports to the SSRS2016 format, refactor them and develop new ETL processes to provide data for summary reports;
- manage the deployment, testing and automation for SSRS and SQL Servers;
- support troubleshooting and performance issues of reports and ETL processes;
- clearly document all newly developed
- Australian Citizenship
- Active Security Clearance
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in database administration of complex databases across multiple integrated systems.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in developing dynamic reports across complex data structures with strong T-SQL skills.
- High level conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills together with a proven ability to provide advice and guidance on the deployment of IT systems (SQL based).
- Ability to maintain Microsoft SQL Server Database environment, including data administration, data transformation, data integrity, data quality and backup and scheduling SQL maintenance plan.
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation as required (i.e. database schema design and other technical documents).
- Experience in optimising database performance and enhancing architectural patterns.
- Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously and
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate the desired outcome with stakeholders at all levels.
