The Company
Our client is a leading retail organisation, with a national presence across Australia are experiencing significant growth across the organisation. As a result they are looking for a Systems Administration to join their business.
The Job
Forming part of the Infrastructure Team the Systems Administrator will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/ configuration, maintenance and on-going operation of the Systems hardware and software. Whilst also providing some mentorship to other team members. Working within the Infrastructure team this individual will join a social, dynamic and high preforming team within the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong system design inline with business requirements aligning with enterprise and solution architecture;
- Provide Technical Systems installation support and maintenance across environment;
- Proactively monitor and maintain key IT systems and infrastructure;
- Ensure strong IT operational performance and control of IT Infrastructure environment;
- Provide high level support request to major critical incidents;
- Managing the standard operating environment (SOE);
- Document all work inline with required standards, methods and tools.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a large-scale environments with both Windows / Red hat, VMWare and Veeam backup multi-site environments;
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking/server hardware, systems, topologies and protocols, investigatory and break fix scenarios;
- Experience with Azure or AWS, Cisco Checkpoint, App Dynamics experience highly advantageous;
- Highly organised and positive attitude towards work with the ability to work well under pressure;
- IT Degree or certificate.
