Senior Test Automation Analyst

Our client is looking to build a highly automated, best in breed testing functionality, and is seeking a skilled, motivated individual to join their project team.
 
You will have the opportunity to help define our client's test automation approach and create test automation suites for new systems and maintain existing automated tests.
 
Reporting into the Test Automation Manager, you will work as part of a co-located Domain team in an agile environment, working on both API and GUI test automation. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining functional automation tests using Java Cucumber, additionally experience in C# Specflow, LeanFT would be beneficial
• Contributing to planning and estimating the test automation approach and effort for new projects and system, in conjunction with the Test Automation Manager.
• Configuring continues integration jobs and related scripts for over-all test scenario orchestration, scheduling and reporting of automated test runs, for multiple target environments
• Working as part of an Agile project team – extensive collaboration required with BAs, other testers, and software developers from both our client and their technology partners/vendors

 To be considered, the skills and experience required include:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Development of extensive, re-usable test automation suites using common tools and frameworks
• Core JAVA and/or C# programming – experience developing automated test framework components ideally, familiar with asynchronous event handling, OOP/OOD etc
• Knowledge of XML and/or other messaging parsing
• SQL query writing / basic database skills
• In depth experience in System and System Integration testing
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment
